Our aims are to promote photography in the community, and to provide a forum for discussing ideas and exchanging information on the subject of photography. Everybody interested in photography is welcome. The emphasis is on having fun and learning more about photography. No great knowledge, expertise, or equipment needed.
We welcome new members, so why not take a look at our programme of events and drop in to the next meeting.

Well I think we all learned something new at last night's workshop on portraiture presented by Philip Scanlon (www.photosbyphilip.com).
Philip started off the evening by going through the various steps involved in him obtaining his "L" - Licentiate of the Irish Photographic Federation award. After that, he showed us a selection of his work and pointed out what problems he had had to overcome for particular shots and shared with us the essential "sticker" tip.
Here are the details of this year's Winter Challenge photo competition.
Choose any 6 of the following 10 titles and produce your photographic interpretation of them:
Now that the summer break is over, we are meeting again on the 2nd and 4th Monday's of most months, at 8pm upstairs in Skerries Rugby Club. See the Programme of Events for the full details.
